In the therapy world, where things tend to get too toxic and professionals are too prone to burn out, Therabilities has become a haven. Yes, the workload might be the same, and the cases you’ll handle are just as difficult as the ones you get in other centers, but Therabilities offers safety and comfort in a way that others don’t. You get to work with people who are very supportive- people who don’t judge you for your mistakes, but recognize your weaknesses and help you turn them into strengths. It is comforting to know that you are surrounded by people who see you as human in a world that expects you to be super.

Working in Therabilities is such a wonderful experience! I don’t feel like I am working every time that I am here as the people are like family to me. Plus, imagine spending the day playing with kids! At times, evaluation and intervention may get challenging but my mentors are always there to help out and guide me. They are also very supportive with continuing education programs!
