Aimee Layug, OTRP, OTR

Aimee is one of the founding directors of Therabilities inc. She received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of the Philippines – Manila in 1994. She established Therabilities inc as a center that could provide family-centered intervention for children with special needs. She has received training in Therapeutic Listening and administration of the SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests).

Natasha Palanca-Abellada, OTRP, OTR

Tisha is co-founder and Clinical Director of Therabilities Twin Oaks. A graduate of the University of the Philippines – Manila, Tisha has been working in the pediatric field for more than 20 years. She has completed the USC-WPS Sensory Integration program and Advanced Therapeutic Listening.

Sunshine T. Ayala, OTRP

Shine graduated as an occupational therapist in University of the Philippines Manila in 2002 and has since then been working in Therabilities. In her 15 years of practice, Shine has also worked in various UP Manila affiliated centers. She also does part time lectures regarding Sensory Integration in UP College of Medical Professions as she has completed USC Sensory Integration courses. Shine is one of the clinical directors of Therabilities South.

Araceli Amoyen, OTRP, OTR

Ara finished her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy in University of the Philippines – Manila in 2006. She has been working with children with varied developmental challenges at Therabilities, Inc for more than a decade. Throughout her practice, she attended continuing education opportunities that are relevant in helping kids reach their full potential such as sensory defensiveness training, social thinking workshop and behavior modification seminars. Ara serves as one of the Clinical Directors in Therabilities South, Inc.

Dianna Salonga, OTRP, OTR

Dana received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Philippines Manila in 2006. For the past years, she has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist in various centers and has also worked as a part-time faculty and clinical supervisor for UP Manila – College Of Allied Medical Professions. She has attended training for sensory defensiveness and SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach to feeding. Dana is one of the Clinical Directors in Therabilities South, Inc.

Maria Therese P. Lee, MS, OTR/L, SWC

Marites graduated BS OT from UP Manila in 1995 and completed her MS OT from San Jose State University, CA in 2010. She has 23 years of OT experience as a Clinician, Director of Rehabilitation and Clinical Instructor for OT interns in USA. She is Swallowing and NDT certified. Marites has completed Level 1 and 2 SPD Mentorships for Children diagnosed with ASD under Dr. Lucy Miller at the STAR Center in Denver in 2014 and 2018, SOS Approach to Self-Feeding and Introduction to Early Start Denver Model for Children with Autism in 2018. She is also a Director of Therabilities Alabang since 2015, and was a Guest Senior Lecturer at the UP College of Allied Medical Professions.

Johanna C. Buhay, MS Education

Jo received her BS in Marketing Management from DLSU in 1998 and her MS in Education from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2009. She taught children age 1-6 years old in 2003-2005 in Brent International School Manila. She has been the Center Manager for Therabilities Alabang since it started in 2015.
